ABOUT OKCNY

Built differently.
Built together.

OKCNY Consulting LLC was built on a simple belief: strong organizations grow when people, process and technology work together—and when the people behind the work can be trusted.

OUR STORY

Brothers. Co-founders.
Different by design.

OKCNY began with something personal: two brothers investing in each other's future. Omar wanted to create an opportunity for Kenan to gain meaningful accounting experience while building toward his own career. Kenan, in turn, helped Omar build and protect the company behind his vision.

What began as an opportunity became a partnership. As the company grew, so did the shared responsibility for learning what it takes to run it well—from finance and marketing to technology, operations and long-term planning.

Two brothers. Different strengths. Shared investment in each other's future.

THE CO-FOUNDERS

Omar Claxton

CO-FOUNDER

Omar Claxton

Omar founded OKCNY with a belief that good organizations are built by understanding how their pieces work together. An engineer and systems thinker, he approaches challenges by looking beyond technology alone—at people, processes, structure and the purpose behind them.

But OKCNY was personal from the beginning. One of Omar's first goals was to create an opportunity for his brother Kenan to gain meaningful accounting experience while building toward his own career. That instinct—to create systems that help people move forward—became part of the company's foundation.

Kenan Claxton

CO-FOUNDER

Kenan Claxton

Kenan helped build OKCNY from its beginning. What started partly as an opportunity to develop his accounting experience became a much larger role: helping make sure the company itself was built well.

As OKCNY grew, Kenan learned and contributed across finance, marketing, technology and the practical work of keeping a young company moving forward. He supported Omar's vision knowing the relationship worked both ways—that the company they were building together could become a platform for both brothers' ambitions.

Growth should create opportunity.

That principle still shapes OKCNY today. We believe stronger organizations should create room for the people and communities connected to them to grow stronger too.

WHAT THE NAME SHOULD MEAN

Consistent.

Our standards don't change when the situation becomes difficult.

Trustworthy.

We value honesty, accountability and long-term relationships.

Reliable.

We build systems—and relationships—people can depend on.

OUR APPROACH

Tailored solutions for you.

No two organizations are identical. Technology may be part of the answer, but it is never the answer simply because it exists. We start with the objective, the people and the constraints, then determine the structure that best supports them.

That philosophy has shaped work across healthcare operations, technology transformation, education systems and organizational infrastructure.
